Five lucky raffle ticket purchasers will win a Chromebook laptop computer. We will hold five separate drawings, one for each Making Music Matters school.
Tickets are on sale now. Sales will continue through December 19. Tickets are $2 each or a book of three tickets is just $5. Tickets may be purchased from students of Making Music Matters, and books of tickets may be purchased online by following this link:
Winners will be drawn and notified on Wednesday, December 20.
As an added incentive this year, our student sellers have an opportunity to win prizes for selling the most tickets. Our top four winners will receive Blue Man Group tickets, a $50 Amazon gift card, or Providence Bruins tickets. In order to be eligible for this contest, students must turn in their raffle ticket stubs and money by Friday, December 15. Each of the stubs must have the student’s name clearly written.
Please help keep us keep Making Music Matters in our schools and support our raffle!

Lessons for the new school year begin September 26!
Making Music Matters is preparing for a busy year, as we expect to enroll more than 500 Boston Public School students this month.
Our free instrumental music lessons in the clarinet, flute, trumpet and violin are offered to 3rd grade students at the Beethoven School, 4th and 5th grade students at the Philbrick School, and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students at the Bates School, Conley School, Ohrenberger School, and Mozart School. This is the first year 3rd grade students from the Conley School are eligible.
3rd grade students receive instruction on multiple instruments. 4th and 5th grade students choose one instrument to play throughout the year.
Making Music Matters lessons occur in the schools during the school day, making it both unique and accessible to our students.
In order to secure a seat in a lesson, enrollment forms must be completed and returned to the school with a $50 money order to pay for the cost of the instrument rental for the course of the school year. Checks are not accepted for instrument rental. Incomplete enrollment packets will be returned home.
Enrollment packets have been distributed to eligible students at their schools. They are, also, available to print in the "For Parents" section of mmmboston.org. Additionally, enrollment packets in Spanish are available in hard copy from the schools and for print in the "For Parents" section of mmmboston.org.
Seats in the lessons are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
